So tried my first transitioning styles & as expected it didn't look as expected. Frankly, I scared myself. While I know my perm will soon be gone, not too sure I can find my go to natural style. I'm not liking the look right now.
have you tried scarves. ( used like a headband)it is what has saved me from cutting it all off. it kind of hides the short pieces and the mess. im not transitioning, but growing out, but i think it would help you too.
My hair isn't super long but mohawks are my go to styles as well as buns and bantu knot outs. The quality isn't the greatest but check out these pics from my first 2 months of transitioning.
