I noticed keeping my new growth oiled is helpful, although it can be way too heavy for my damaged hair.
Depending on where you are in your transitioning stage, the best thing to do is to keep using your current products until they stop working instead of going out and buying all of these "natural" and "curl-defining creams". I instantly went out and became a product junkie and ended up returning to my old stash of products until I cut off the remaining relaxed ends.
Thick, highly porous but protein sensitive 4a hair

Hello, I am a brand new transitioner, my last relaxer was May22, 2014. I am excited but nervousness at the same time about this journey. Does anyone have any advice at all about this journey. As of now I was my hair every once every week & use a lot of Shea moisture products while doing so. My concerns are what hairstyles can I do since I'm working with 2 different textures of hair what exactly do I do with that? I'm at a lost so any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance & have a blessed day!!
