Dry, frizzy hair? Again?

I started co-pooing about 3 months ago. The first 2 months, my hair looked awesome! I'd get compliments all the time. This month, however, my hair has been dry and frizzy. Idk why! Has this happened to anyone else? What can I do? I'm a 3b that co-poos and I use a microfiber towel to dry. Help!
[QUOTE=rrkacey;1785996]My hair gets "bored" of conditioners so I alternate. The conditioners I use are Garnier Fructis Pure Clean fortifying cond., Catwalk curl collection Curlesque hydrating cond. by TIGI, wen cleansing conditioner in sweet almond mint, and Jessicurl deep conditioning treatment. After washing, I use either Ouidad's moisture lock leave in conditioner or Catwalk by TIGI's curls rock amplifier. I then use Ouidad's Climate Control gel. Should I use a clarifying shampoo?
That happens, you should try another hair product, I recommend the one I use which works great, it's Pro Naturals Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment with Heat Protector, it helps strengthen the hair that's prone to breakage, splitting or snapping off, gently smoothes the hair, reduces Frizz and helps prevent heat damage, plus leaves hair healthy, shiny and resilient. I love it because I got rid of the dryness and the frizz in my hair. Hope this helps and good luck with everything girl !
Askme, do you think that product would work for me considering I don't use heat on my hair? If so, where can I find it?
I rarely do anything other than conditioner-only wash. So when my hair starts acting dry and frizzy, I use Deva Low Poo. I only have to do this maybe 3x per year. I DT my hair once per week -- this has made a huge improvement in the dryness factor and that helped reduce frizziness too.

Maybe you need a protein treatment? I've heard other curlies say this. You have to keep a good moisture/protein balance.

Or build up. If it's just build up, you can try low pooing or actually shampooing. Just getting a nice clean start sometimes helps.

I wish I could tell ya. I can't even figure out my own frizz problems. I'm going to try a protein treatment soon and see if it helps. the last one i used was from sally's and it worked really nicely on my hair last winter. i think it has silicones, though
I stand corrected! There are NO silicones in this product. If you are interested in trying a protein treatment and have a sally's near you you should try this one! It's called Ion Effective Care Treatment. It has a lot of moisture in it too. Worked wonders in my hair!
Sounds like you just need to do a clarifying wash, even though the products we use have great ingredients they still can build up, I bet if you clarify your hair will be great again!
I dont know about he other products you mentioned but Ouidad products contain dimethicone so that may be the issue.

Loving my hair!!!
Thanks @love2becurly. I do have a Sally's close by so I'll have to try that ion product. @ jammers Thanks for the article. And ms darcie, I know the gel I use has some cone in it but it's the only gel that works for me :/ I'll lay off their other products though.
I can't recommend Devacurl condition one it's
So wonderful
Tammy, I tried the devacurl one conditioner but it didn't work for me. My hair refused to drink it!
Remember while deep conditioning is great, too much can cause frizz. also if you have course hair, too much protein is not good and can also lead to frizz.
