2B Hair Products?

My hair is type 2B. Since I can't seem to encourage it to look decent, I usually brush it straight or confine it to a bun. After seeing some of the before and after pictures on here, I'd like to go Curly Girl. I'm looking for Curly Girl friendly hair products to use to best care for my hair and bring it to its curliest potential. My hair is rather fine and tends to get weighed down easily. When I use a product in my hair, my curls look great for about an hour or so and then fall and look stringy. I'm in need of a sulfate-free cleanser, conditioner, and styling products like gels or pastes that would best work for my 2B hair. Any 2B hair types who can share some products and tips for working with my hair?
Hair properties are more important than curl type. http://livecurlylivefree.com/curly%20hair%20basics.htm

Figure out your hair properties then find someone with similar properties and see what they use (often this is in signatures).
remember, with all advice or suggestions for your hair, YMMV!!
My hair:
2b wavy, medium texture, low porosity, med-high density. Protein finicky.
My routine:
Cleansing: DCNP, every 4-5 days (occasionally use CJ cleansers).
RO: CJSC, occasionally use JCDC
Gel: KCCC, CJCIAB for 2nd day hair (sometimes third)

Heat is my friend: warm water rinses, steam caps, and diffuse dry. I love CLU cloths and my Denman.
What MI said, plus, treat your hair gently and kindly with deep treatments and good techniques and products. (check out the "Techniques" sticky at the top of the General Hair Discussion page ) and one last thing, embrace your waves! You can't really force your hair to be what it is not...I can't turn my S shaped, curly hair into sultry waves, though I have tried - waves are gorgeous!
Finer, mixed with coarser strands, low-porosity, wavy curly whirly hair...3A, 2C hair. Medium thickness, medium elasticity.
S-shaped hair with corkscrew ends. My hair is even more confused than me ;p
My hair officially hates protein Once a month is enough!
Currently a fan of TiGi products, (rock on, TiGi Curlesque styling creme!) but that will soon change - I am a self-avowed product junkie! Yay!
BIG fan of supersoaker method - thanks Rudeechick!
