Blowing out a pixie cut with a keratin treatment

So I'm transitioning with a keratin and wearing my hair straight. A decent amount of my hair is natural at this point maybe half and half. As you know when you blow dry and straighten a keratin treatment it looks as though you just gotten a perm. But recently I have thinking about getting a short pixie cut similar to Emma Watson. And technically this would double as my big chop even thou I'd be eliminating majority of my already natural hair as well as the permed ends. So my question is how much of a hassle will it be to blow dry and straighten such short and natural hair to the style I want with a keratin treatment in place? Everyone says I'm going to have to be at the salon every week in order to maintain it ? Is it worth it ? Any personal experiences? My hair is probably a 4b
