I have very very thick 2C hair. is a pixie cut a good idea or will it be impossible to control?

honestly my biggest issue is the huge amount of thickness and how wavy it is--would it just stick straight up or if I do cut it are there ways to style/control it?

I have a friend with thick 2C hair and just got a pixie cut last month. It looks amazing! She says that it's pretty easy to take care of (since it's shorter) but she still has to use leave in conditioner keep it moisturized. Other than that, I think it would be pretty easy to maintain, depending on how you look at it. If you're into it, go for it! Here are some pictures I found on the internet of 2C hair pixie cuts. Hope this helped! :) xo
Pixie cuts always look great on models, but not necessarily on the rest of us. It depends on your face and how thick your hair is. I've attached an old picture to show what I mean. That was my hair in the 90s, short and blow dried. Even though it was short, I still struggled with it because it was so thick - it wanted to be a dorky, stiff, round ball of hair. Also, I have a long chin, big ears, and a narrow forehead, and it wasn't the greatest look for me, I just didn't know what else to do. But that's me. On you, it might look wonderful. If I were you I'd try something like an inverted bob or a Deva cut first, before going really short.
