I would suggest trying the loc method for a while. Also use JBCO (Jamaican Black Castor Oil) around that area and add a couple drops of peppermint oil before you go to sleep. This will increase the blood flow and give off a tingly sensation. Very relaxing. Hope this helps :)
Hi!Clary Sage seems to help with scalp irritation: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/home/how...Other info about oils for your scalp:http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/home/why...http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/kinky-ha...http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/home/hav...JBCO: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curly-ha...Be gentle and avoid any styling that pulls your edges (weaves, wigs, tight braids or twists, extension braids, tight ponytails or buns...). Also, avoid leaving in stretched styles for too long. Sometimes starting over freshly with cleansing, conditioning and restyling at least 2 times a week helps with a myriad of hair/scalp issues. Don't deep condition or prepoo for too long or overnight, as that can end up irritating the scalp as well. I hope that helps!
