Can anyone help me with my hair pattern and hair care for it?

After being relaxed at a very young age, I recently decided to embark on a new journey with my hair. Although I have been transitioning for 7 months now, I still feel like theirs a ton more to learn (lol). I've found that along with hair care, the hair community often uses hair typing as a good way to determine what products and routine might be best for your hair. Could anyone tell me what my hairtype is and some good products for it? Will my hair drastically change after I cut off my 3-4 inches of relaxed hair? Thanks!

You defiantly have type 3 hair, I would say that it is 3c with some 3b :) I recommend that you just try a whole bunch of products and see what it does to your hair. I am also 7 months into my transition and I just test out a lot of products. I have 3b/3c hair and a few that worked for me are Treseme Naturals Silicone Free Conditioner, Coconut Oil, Any profuct by Shea Moisture x Good Luck on your journey.
all hair should be treated with care. avoid straightening it to make sure you get the best out of your curls. use curl friendly products that are free of silicones and sulfates. don't coat the hair with heavy oils. hydrate don't lubricate. i saw someone recommended you use Shea Moisture. from my 20 year experience, i've seen many girls suffer from excessive buildup from that product that could lead to hair loss and breakage. you can see my work at my blog is very helpful to help you determine what products are good to use and how to care for your curls at home.
