Help!!! Why is my hair falling out more than ever!!

I've been doing the CG method for about two weeks now. It seems as though my hair is falling out a lot more than before. What is going on? How can I stop it from happening? Should I just go back to regular shampooing? I have 3a type hair and I'd like to let it grow long. How can I do that when it's falling out at an alarming rate?

Are you waiting longer between washes? Also be careful of ingredients and make sure they're natural. Some people are just more sensitive.
Thank you sooo much for your quick response. I'm at a loss, I'm new to this. I use VO5 kiwi & lime clarifying conditioner for a co-wash, VO5 shea cashmear with vanilla for a rinse out, shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie for a leave in, and just a little eco styler gel for styling. I'm washing about 3x's a week. When I'm done I'm surprised at how clean my hair and scalp feel. Fortunately, when my hair air dries it looks full and others can't tell that I'm losing hair fast. But I can. I didn't have that much hair fall out with regular shampoo. Am I massaging my scalp for too long? (2 to 4 minutes) I'm only using the pads of my fingertips and not my nails. And I use a wide toothed comb when I have my conditioner in the shower. I read a lot on this site and my curly girl book should be arriving tomorrow. I want healthy hair, but I don't want to go bald doing Your hair is very pretty by the way.
I really don't think you're losing hair from the CG method. 9 times out of 10, when people think they are suffering from hair loss, there is a much simpler explanation. If you are encouraging your curls more and really enhancing your curl pattern, more shed hairs are going to get caught in your hair instead of falling out- completely natural. If you're washing 3x a week, you aren't detangling very often , so when you finally do, a big mass of hair becomes entwined around your fingers- we have ALL had this. The only time you should be concerned is if there are noticeable patches of hair missing from your scalp, or if your hair feels significantly thinner, to other people as well because you may overreact to something that's not even there. If this happens, go to a doctor. It could be stress, it could be a medical condition, but I highly doubt it's from the CG method.
