Hi Jumanjis,To start with, you will want to stay away from the kind of braids you have in the photo and other styles that pull tightly and weigh down your hair. Those styles can put a lot of stain on the hair and can cause hair loss in my experience. You may also want to try massaging your scalp daily or every other day, focusing on your crown area. You can use oils that are supposed to help stimulate growth. Here's some info on that:http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/kinky-ha...Try using rosemary oil: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/seniors/...You can also try Jamaican Black Castor Oil: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curl-pro...You could mix a few drops of rosemary oil into a quarter sized amount of Jamaican Black castor oil, apply to the crown and massage your scalp with the oils. Also, be sure that you are doing all the normal healthy things that support hair growth:Take multivitamins. If you take women's vitamins they may include biotin and some other extras that are in those supplements that are specifically for hair, skin, and nails.Drink lots of water!Eat lots of fruits and veggies to give your hair the nutrients it needs to grow.If you already do these, that's great! One thing to consider is that hair loss can also be due to stress, specific illnesses of the body or scalp, side-effects from medications and hereditary conditions. You may want to talk to your doctor first, especially if the hair loss is happening rather quickly. I hope that helps!
