How do I get rid of a wiry underneath layer?
My hair is driving me up the wall lately. I live where it is humid now, and my hair is frizzing out of control. I have this awful underneath layer of hair that is wiry, kind of straight, and doesn't absorb anything. I don't know what to do. I am at my wit's end! I know I haven't tried close to enough things, but there is so much out there that I am overwhelmed. I have to wash my hair with Ketoconazole three times a week because I have scalp psoriasis. Then I use a conditioner like Jessicurl, Devacurl, or Biolage. After that I use Jessicurl Rockin' Ringlets and Confident Coils and diffuse. Twice a month I use B&B deep conditioner. At night, I sleep on a cotton pillowcase because I'm not sure I can handle sliding around on a silk one. Any advice would be appreciated, as I am close to shaving it all off! (Not seriously, but I've come close.)Also, I do get highlights every three months or so. Type 3a
