Can I Straighten My Hair By Mixing Brown Sugar and Shampoo?
This is something I literally just did, not knowing better. I had a small case of dandruff, and I wanted to add the little bead factor to my regular shampoo, to see if I was able to fix the problem easily. I mixed two tablespoons of brown sugar with about one and a half tablespoon of shampoo, poured it directly to my dry and dandruffy scalp, and massaged. Since it got sticky, I added a bit of water to make it lather up so it would let me wash the scalp throughly. I didn;t feel anything different. When I finished washing my hair, That I went to style it, I realized the hair on the crown of my head, and down to at least seven to ten inches of the affected strands, won;t curl. I've tried every styling/moisturizing/curling product I have in hand to fix the issue, but it prevails. Can the mixture of sugar and shampoo really affect my hair so?This is the shampoo I used.
