Okay, simply put: Biotin. Does it work?
Basically, I took Biotin for months. Don't know if it helped. Want to go back on it, but ONLY if it works on hair, skin and nails, like it's advertised to. Can someone help?
From my understanding it only works if you actually have a vitamin deficiency. If your B vitamins are already at sufficient level it may not have much benefit. I take a skin and nail vitamin personally because I don't think it could hurt. The bottom line is, you should ultimately ask your doctor when taking any supplements.
