Why does it seem like my hair never grows?

I have really curly hair(I little bit curlier then 3b but not as curly as 3c). My hair is pretty healthy. It has always been natural I have never gotten it relaxed, it has never been dyed, I don't blow dry it, and I rarely straighten it(maybe twice a year or so) so I don't know what the problem is. It seems like it doesn't grow. When it is curly and full dry it just reaches my shoulders. But when I do straighten it it reaches about my elbows. I don't know why it always stays the same length. Does anybody ?

sometimes it depends on what u eat, maybe you need some kind of vitamins that affects hair growth.
It could be a number of things. When is the last time you got a trim? Holding on to hair without trimming it can lead to breakage, causing your hair to be at a stand still. Most ppl get trims every 6 weeks. See a professional to give you at least one good one and see if you notice any difference this year.
