What is the best process (wash/condition/gel) to use to cleanse 2b-2c low-porous hair?
I have a 2b-2c mix of curls and want to know the best cleansing process to do to ensure the best curl, shine and moisture I can get. Not sure on what kinds of shampoo, oils, conditioner and gels/mousse would be best for my hair.
Hair properties are more important then curl type (it's transient depending on product/technique) for choosing ingredients/products. Here's a link to help you with yours http://livecurlylivefree.com/curly-hair-basics/ Once you determine your properties, go on curl talk and look at peoples signatures. There are bound to be people with similar hair. Look for what they use and do. It's the best place to start.
The best place to start is the hair type pages: http://www.naturallycurly.com/pages/hairtypes/type...Brands that I love are the following: AGJessicurl (look for the looser curl products)VerbOr CurlMart shows some picks too: http://Shop.NaturallyCurly.com/type-2b-wavy-hair/Some of the retail brands that are great:Loreal Paris EverCurlSheaMoisturehttp://Shop.NaturallyCurly.com/type-2b-wavy-hair/
