Dry ends!? Need Help...

I big chopped last month after 15months of transitioning. I noticed while I was transitioning that my new growth was really puffy at the line of demarcation but just thought that was normal. Ever since I chopped my ends have been incredibly dry and rough. The dryer it gets the more single strand knots I get :(I think I have 4b/c, fine, high porosity hair. I prepoo with coconut oil, detangle with aussie moist, shampoo and condition with shea moisture, deep condition (haven't found a staple), use kkkt as my leave in and seal with my shea butter whip. Now I DC 2x/week. Last night I tried Kimmaytube's leave in and that helped a lot but my ends are still rough. I've trimmed small pieces but didn't see any split ends or anything. The rest of my hair feels great and moisturized, its just my ends.I'm at such a loss, I honestly don't know what to do anymore. It makes me so sad because I want to be natural but it was so much easier to manage my hair when it was relaxed. I know this is long but if anyone can help I would be so grateful!

Whoa we use basically the same products! My advice? Just cut those ends. Sounds like you're doing everything right and if they're giving you so much grief why are you holding on to them? I heard that the first few inches of natural hair growth are still effected by the relaxer, so it may just be "scab hair", which is briefly talked about here >> http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/kinky-hair-type-4a/survival-guide-for-twa/Don't sacrifice healthy hair for length. All hair grows. Just cut off those dry ends and your hair will be much easier to manage! Hope that helps <3
