Is My Hair Normal and What To Do To It?

Hi i am a 16 year old girl who needs some hair care help. I use to has really puffy hair with no curl pattern what so ever so i use to sometimes get it straighten 2 or 3 weeks. But one day this summer i decided to put coconut milk on my hair and let it sit for 2 days. When i wash it out it didn't go puffy like normal i actually had curls i was excited since my hair used to be silky and curly when i was younger due to being biracial but it changed when i got older. The problem is my is puffy but straight at the top but frizzy and curly at the bottom im not sure if its heat damage or not. I put pictures so you can see what it looks like i tried putting curly enhancement stuff and gel on the top but its still straight?

It is pretty normal for the hair on the top to not have much curl definition, unfortunately. This is because the top recieves more damage and exposure from sunlight, wind, humidity, and air pollutants. Also, this sounds like a case of heat damage! All that puffy hair is probably damaged curls that lack definition. If you are biracial, it’s not likely that your curls would just stop existing. It just seems like they need some TLC and moisture.
