I also have really frizzy, dry, 3b hair. Here's what I do:Night: (I shower at night)I get in the shower and use Cantu Sulfate-Free Shampoo. I really scrub my scalp to get all the grime out. I usually bend forward and flip my head upside down to do this because it makes it easier to really get in there since my hair is so thick. Then I rinse that out and use Tresemme Naturals Conditioner (silicone free). I put enough in so that I can pretty easily use my fingers to detangle my hair. Then I put my hair up in a loose bun, with all the conditioner in it still, and continue with my shower. Once I'm done with everything, I rinse some (not all!) of the conditioner out. Then I get out of the shower and gently wrap my hair in a microfiber towel. Sometimes I'll put some of Cantu's leave in conditioner in on the ends of my hair, but sometimes I don't...because I'm tired and lazy haha. When I go to bed, I put my hair in a pineapple bun using a scrunchie and only putting it around my hair once. The next morning:My hair is mostly dry and really undefined and terrible, so I go and turn on my shower (or sink...but shower is faster) and dunk my hair under the water to get it all wet. When you style your hair you want it to be wet. I scrunch some of the excess water out with my microfiber towel and then I start putting products in. I use Cantu's Curl Activator Cream. I flip my head over first and put some on my ends, because that's what starts to dry first, then I'll flip back over and put some on each side and on the back. Ill scrunch it some, find my part, and then I will finish with some gel. I'm using Cantu's shine and define gel, but any gel without alcohol will work. For the gel, I lightly smooth it over all of my hair and then I scrunch. If I notice later on once my hair starts to dry that I put too much gel in and my hair is starting to feel crunchy, then I will just scrunch the crunch out. That night:When I take a shower I either put a shower cap on or just a pineapple bun, so that my hair won't get wet. I sleep in a pineapple bun always.Next morning:I have a spray bottle filled with water and a little bit of my conditioner. I LIGHTLY spritz my hair with that. You don't want it really wet. Then I take a little bit of the Curl Activator Cream and I smooth it over each side of my hair (left, right, back). Don't rake it through! Just lightly smooth it over and go over your edges to calm the frizzies down. Finish, once again with a little tiny bit of gel. Smooth it over, and then scrunch a little. I do this all the way through 4th day hair, and then on the 4th night I wash again.
