I can not do anything with my hair dry I want to try the twist out styles what can I do? 3C-4B.

Greeting,I have been natural for real for about 11 months and my natural journey has been interesting to say the least.  I seem to have great success with finger coils and wash & goes. Anything I can do wet, but when I attempt any dry sets twist out, rod set, or braid out my hair has some kind of attitude and refuse to work with me. My hair type is between 3C and 4B and my length is to about ear lobe & jaw bone. It's winter and I live in Chicago please understand the polar vortex will make me suffer greatly for having wet hair on a daily bases. Please Help!!!!!Natural For Real

OH MY GOSH! I live in Chicago too! Yeah it did start getting freezing cold! I don't know what you mean when you say the style doesn't work with you when done on dry hair. Is it dry? Is it frizzy? if it's one of those, I suggest pre-pooing with coconut oil. It will prevent hygral fatigue but most importantly, retain the natural oils(sebum) and moisture in your hair that will get stripped from your shampoo(depending if your shampoo has sulfates)This will make your hair moisturized and soft. Make sure your deep condish is super moisturizing and is mostly (bout 90%) natural ingredients. Wash the conditioner out with cold water and apple cider vinegar. This will lay and seal your hair cuticle leaving it smooth and silky for the style you want! When you style I HIGHLY suggest you use Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie! If they ever stop selling this product I will commit suicide!!! Just kidding!!!(maybe) This product makes my 4b hair SuPeR KUPER soft and smooth and defined and elongated and shiny and has a strong but silky hold! And it smells so sweet HAWAIINISH pina-colada EATIBLE smell! It's AWETHUM!!! This will make your styles look SOOPER defined! I'm *sniff sniff* literally crying *sniff* right now. I suggest you read reviews and watch videos about people with a similar hair type as yours use this product. You can research and read about the tips and learn more about yo hair type!
