I need a hair routine, but I'm not even sure what type of hair I have.

I am new to this site. I recently stopped using heat on my hair. My hair has lost a lot of volume over the years and is not nearly as curly as it used to be mainly from constant straightening, dying my hair and someone burning my hair and causing a lot of it to fall out in clumps O_O I am very unfamiliar with curly hair maintenance, I'm not even sure what my hair type is (I think maybe 2c or 3a but I can't tell.) Someone bought me some Carol's Daughter products (sham, conditioner, refresher spray and cream) but it seems like my hair hates it. My main issue is volume and my hair is just so flat on the top and major major frizz. So if anyone has any tips, tricks, routine suggestions, products they'd recommend I would really appreciate it because I am so lost! Thanks!!!!I attached a photo below of my hair on a good hair day, and my avatar is a pretty good photo of how my hair usually comes out.

I agree that your hair is between 2c and 3a. Which it is not uncommon for curly hair to have different curl patterns in your hair. The first thing I would recommend if you aren't already is start the  curly girl method (no sulphates or silicones).  Your washing routine should include either co washing or using sulphate free shampoo. Now a important step in styling curly hair is style it when its still really wet after the shower. When your hair is wet, it is when its the least frizzy and you want to prevent as much frizz as possible. If you have any more questions please feel free to message me :)
