What can I do to restore my edges?

I lost my edges from glue with weaving and stress and/or to tight hairstyles. I also have thinning on the top.

You may be dealing with Traction Alopecia or Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (CCCA) both of which are unfortunately permanent.  The best thing for you to do is to IMMEDIATELY stop wearing glue-ins and tight braids to prevent further damage.  While there isn't a magic cure all to restore lost hair, your damage might be temporary (fingers crossed). Alleviating the pressure from these styles may help your hair grow back.  While none of these methods are scientifically proven, I've heard people rave about Jamaican Black Castor Oil as an edge restorer. Hair vitamins may also be helpful.  Good luck.  For more information about CCCA, click here.
