Make my hair healthy again!
In short, I don't know what happened to my hair. I have been obsessed with my curls for over 10 years and know all about the ins and outs of proper curl care. It seems like a foggy memory when my curls were a healthy, thick 3A (my natural hair type). Sometime last year, I kind of fell off my routine. I very rarely use heat tools - heat damaged isn't the problem. It's more of not using quality products (no product snob here - just using the wrong conditioner for my type), and I think I have worn my hair up everyday for over a year - and yes, that was hard to admit! lol Anyway, I my hair is so damaged and dry now it seems to be a 3c. It has thinned out and is breaking off, the frizz is out of control, and my curls are definitely tighter than they naturally are (which I know is a symptom of dryness).Other then a serious hair cut, I need some help! As someone who knows so much about curly hair, it is honestly embarrassing I have let my hair get this way. Tell me I'm not alone. Tell me someone has been here too! lol I know all about at home masks (avocado, eggs), no heat styling, etc. But my hair is so beyond that. Please recommend the best conditioners, masks, leave in, anything you can think of!Thanks so much!Kelly
I just took a deep breath because I know it's gonna take me forever to answer this question because i care about hair so much AAANNNNDDD because i'm a perfectionist!
