My hair has barely grown in six months. How can I make it grow again?

This is the only photo I have where you can see some of my hair. I try very hard to reduce breakage. I sleep on a satin pillowcase, I use a sulphate free shampoo every week or two as my hair doesn't get greasy very often and dries out easily. I also use a silicon free conditioner. I never use heat on my hair and wrap it in a cotton shirt when it's wet instead of using a towel but the length of my hair just doesn't change. On a side note, I'm not entirely sure what hair type I have so if you could give me any advice on that too, that would be great. Thanks :) xxx

Looks like type 3C. Since your hair doesn't get greasy very often and dries out easily, you may want to consider co-washing for extra moisture, especially since you already use a silicone-free conditioner. I also just read about this method for hair growth that you could try: Others have tried it and it seems to work, but you can only do it like once a month for it to be effective. I hope that helps!
castor oil and finger detangling to prevent breakage maybe u need more moisture ?
I think your hair is more type 3b. Although it seems you are doing many things correctly, there are other things to consider as well. I noticed you have your hair died which can be very damaging to hair. It can over dry it which can cause breakage. So your hair may be growing, but due to the drying chemicals in your hair it causes your hair to break, making it look as if it is not growing. Also, do you wear your hair in tight pony tails? Do you use a comb to detangle your hair? Try only using your fingers when detangling your hair instead of a comb, and try your best not to wear tight pony tails. I noticed when I stopped using a comb and stopped wearing my hair in tight pony tails my hair started growing long. I have a mix of 3b and 3c hair.
