Shouldn't diffusing be good for low porosity hair?
If you have low-porosity hair, it seems like applying a leave-in conditioner to damp hair and then diffusing with heat should actually help the moisture penetrate your hair. That's similar to what you're doing when you deep condition with heat, isn't it? Or am I missing something?
I think so...but I'm not sure. I don't know every super-scientific thing about hair, but I do know that my low-porosity hair looks great when I diffuse it when damp! :)
Hi Rosie64, Your theory sounds plausible. Diffusing, or heat in general helps to open up the cuticle, which in theory should allow more moisture in. I would try it out and see if you notice a difference in the softness of your hair. Try it out and let us know! :)
