I've tried the Shea Moisture African Black Soap Dandruff Control Masque and it's really helped me with itchy scalp (and my sister with her dandruff)!  I used to have a lot bigger problem with itchy scalp, but it hasn't been happening as often. I think it comes from keeping products off my scalp a little bit more, but I have started using Crece Pelo deep conditioner and sometimes their ampoulle. When my scalp does itch, I apply the ampoulle I mentioned or jojoba oil. Also, if you're ever looking for another shampoo, the Shea Moisture JBCO shampoo usually leaves my hair relatively moisturized.
Hi Loving3bcurls, The reason your hair feels stripped and dry after using these shampoos is because most of these shampoos are over-cleaning your scalp. You can try the SheaMoisture African Soap cowash, which I hear great things about, or the SheaMoisture JBCO shampoo which is great! I would recommend first learning WHY your scalp is itchy, and then finding a solution.
