Do you consider ACV a conditioner or cleanser?I've heard good reasons for each.

Ive heard Apple Cider Vinegar is a good cleanser because it is antifungal and is great for removing product build up.  Which I can attest to.  However, I've also heard it is a good conditioner because of its acidity.  The hair cuticles flatten and shrink in the presence of more acidic substances and that makes hair strands smooth. If both of these things are true: is ACV a cleanser or a conditioner?

For me personally, I use it as a cleanser in place of my shampoo because I find that it cleans  your hair out more than it conditions. After the ACV rinse, I use a silicone free conditioner. I recommend that you experiment with it as a cleanser and as a conditioner to see what your hair likes.
Great question! I use it as a conditioning rinse but only after co-washing. If I shampoo, then I definitely use a deep conditioner and occasionally spritz the ACV while the conditioner sets.
