What types of clarifying shampoos can I buy at a drug store that at safe for 3a hair?

I have been using a pantene pump bottled co-wash for the past few months now until I read somewhere about clarifying to remove buildup. Idk if I have product buildup or what it even looks like to be honest. I also wasn't sure what a clarifying shampoo was, like is it a regular shampoo or is it a special kind of shampoo? Please help and thanks! I have naturally auburn 3a hair past my shoulders if that helps with anything.

Try Traders Joe's. If you can't find that...Shea Moisture is sulfate free and you can get that anywhere. BUT if you really want to clarify... you should try a apple cider vinegar rinse. This is cheap and easy and you can DIY it. Here's how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ1F_uII35Y
Apple cider vinegar rinses are good so long as you don't do them too frequently. However, when I had build up it wasn't enough. I had to full-one go to a sulfate clarifying 'poo. I used Suave Naturals Clarifying but I believe VO5 has one, too. Also you could use Shea Moisture's African Black Soap clarifying shampoo which is sulfate free. Some WalMarts carry it and I believe Walgreens does.
