Would I benefit from deep conditioning?

My hair is long, thick, and somewhere between 3a and 3b (closer to a). I am getting the impression that deep conditioning is used frequently and I've never tried it. Does DC provide the most benefit for only 4s or is my hair curly enough (ha! never thought I'd say that) for it to be worth it? My hair doesn't look think in the pictures but I swear it is

Hi MD1216, Yes! Absolutely! Deep conditioners should be used for all hair types. From straight to curly. My hair is a 2a to 2b wave pattern and I like to deep condition every 2 weeks. You can deep condition up to once a week if your hair is really dry. But 2 weeks is a good safe regimen. My favorite deep conditioner is Ouidad Meltdown Masque and SheaMoisture Manuka Honey and Mafura Treatment at Target. I strongly recommend you deep condition to keep your hair shiny and soft. You can even try making your own deep conditioner: http://www.naturallycurly.com/recipes/Deep+ConditionerHope that helps!
definitely get a deep conditioner after a really good shampoo . Deep conditioners strengthen the hair plus gives it fullness . Try shea butter products or even coconut o ild shampoo and conditioner .
