Suggestions for a deep conditioner
I am brand new to the Curly Girl Method; I just started this morning! I chose my starter products based on what I had read on these message boards, various reviews, and from my own personal experience with my curls. The one thing that I couldn't seem to settle on was a deep conditioner.I have 3A/3B, thick, low porosity hair. Does anyone have any suggestions for a deep conditioner that might work well for me? I'm completely open to the idea of making my own, too!
Have you tried Curl Junkie Curl Fix Intense Hair Treatment? I think it's no-poo friendly.

I use the Sheamoisture raw shea butter deep treatment masque. I bought mine at Walmart for about 10-12 dollars. If you add olive oil it works even better! you should try it.
I love Jessicurl's Deep Treatment, but lately I've been using SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter masque and I really like that too. It can be a little trickier to distribute but I just emulsify it with a little extra water in my hands or add a little oil (coconut or olive, whichever I happen to have on hand) and that makes it easier.
Thanks so much for the suggestions!I tried a homemade deep treatment today, but it didn't go over so well....The reviews for Curl Junkie Curl Fix are great, so I think I'll be ordering that after my next paycheck. I'll have to try to the Shea Moisture Masque, too! I'm experimenting with the Shea Moisture Curling Souffle right now, and my hair seems to be liking it. Maybe the masque will be a good addition.
