Deva cut.... What to expect????

I'm really considering getting a deva cut, however I'm scared because I don't know what to expect. Any advice on what todo and what not to do? I'm both Puerto Rican and dominican and well my curls are between 3b and 3c.... I'm nervous, I've always cut my hair after I've straighten it

I think it's better to have a dry cut cuz then you can really see what the stylist is doing and offer guidance as she goes. Sometimes a stylist will do a preliminary cut dry and then wet your hair and finish up the cut.
