I have one section at the top of my hair that is just frizz, how can I fix it and define the curls!

I hope someone can help me!! I'm part morroccon. Which when summed up means ...I have a lot of hair, it's thick, and it's several different patterns. The sections closest to my ears tend to be 3c, the curls under my head tend to be 3b and the curls on top of my head are 3a/3b. My problem is the front section of my hair (the area that would be made into bangs) is just frizz. It's terrible. I live in a place where it's hard to access curly hair products because the majority of the people who live here are white with straight hair, so my options are limited. I'm currently using a cream (meant for curly hair) which seems to be working for the rest of my hair, just not that front section. I don't know why. I  straighten my hair 2 times a year, I haven't coloured it or used any chemicals apart from testing products, the only thing I can think of is that I use a brush rather then a comb or a pick! I'm really unsure . I hope someone can help! I just want to know how I can turn that frizz into some nice curls! I'm lacking definition! sorry  in advance for the terrible photos!
