hey, I along with you have 3c hair, but if your hair is completely heat damaged than there is really no way to come back. But if you try drenching your hair in water and brush it out from bottom to top, than apply leave in conditioner.I prefer to use a conditioner made to be used on curly hair. After you apply it try letting your hair air dry. When your hair is dry and if there is no curl pattern/definition than you'll know that your hair has heat damage. I'd suggest wrapping your hair at night with either a silk/satin scarf or you can try a silk pillow casing.Wrapping your hair at night is a good for your hair because it prevents frizz and protects your hair from damage. Not just wrapping your helps protect it if you want to have a more simple/easier ways to protect your hair just tie your hair at the front of head. There are so many other ways to help re define your curls and prevent frizz.
