Uncontrollable, frizzy type 2c hair

I have long, thick, coarse and really frizzy hair. I am unable to wear it down without resembling Hagrid from Harry Potter. I always wear my hair in a bun. I decided to have a head full of foils three years ago and I decided to straighten / flat iron my hair ever since. Now I want to get my hair into condition. ( thankfully, I have just come across this website ) I wash my hair three times a week with Mark Hill MiracOILicious Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. After washing I comb and put my hair in to two simple plaits. I use Wella Shockwaves Ultra Strong Heat Defence Volumising Mousee to style . The Mousee leaves my hair feeling crunchy. My hair looks dull , dry and frizzy. Any products, hair cair routine  ( cleanse, deep conditioning, apple cider vinegar,  co wash) you recommend would be a great help I am clueless. ( I understand different products work for different people ). Thank you. My hair is a frizzy, uncontrollable mess.

You probably have heat damage so if you haven't done it yet I would do a protein treatment, but be careful not to over do it. Then do regular deep conditioning treatments or oiling your hair. For styling what works for me is a modified LOC method. First I put gel, coconut oil and end with styling cream. You can try doing that I do recommend you to use a leave in as your styling routine and to switch to a styling cream instead of mousse. A layered haircut would help you a lot with volume and make it more manageable. For the frizz control once your hair is hydrated you will hardly need any product and the frizz wont be there. So condition a lot but don't over do proteins
