is mineral oil really that bad?
For someone who has a peanut allergy, there really isn't a lot of options for me out here. I have oral allergy syndrome too so tree extracts are pretty bad for me too. But do you think it's okay for me to use products like Blue Magic leave in conditioner??? I was really considering it.
Not so much, and especially if it really works for your hair. I tried my hardest to avoid mineral oil, having heard it doesnt do a lady's tresses good, and abandoned a product that gave me the best twist out right after a wash I'd ever had. I looked at the back of the Taliah Waajid African Healing Oil bottle and found that mineral oil was one of its first ingredients ( cant say i wasnt heart broken, what with the results it gave me ). I decided to further research the issue, and came across an article that explained some things more clearly for me: http://www.curlynikki.com/2011/10/closer-look-at-mineral-oil-natural-hair.html Im pleased to say that me and my "Perfect Twist Out Product" are back together now, and happier than ever, lol!
