What are the best products for 2c hair. Currently unhappy with Deva, L'anza, and Oiudad. help!

I have a closet full of products I have tried that we're not right for me. I never get compliment on my hair when it's curly, only when I straighten it. I like my curls but the frizz is driving me crazy. I 'd like to try new products but can't afford the whole cycle of trial and error. Suggestions from your experience with its problem would be most appreciated!

If you're on a budget I would check out the L'Oreal Evercurl line, they have a really good cleansing conditioner and their cream gel is great for giving definition to your curls. It sounds like you don't mind heat tools since you straighten your hair, so my biggest styling tip then is to let your curls air dry naturally, and then use a curling wand to fix up just a few of the curls that you're unhappy with. If you curl a couple pieces that frame the face it normally has the greatest impact. Try it out and see what you think, but I know this works wonders for me and I've seen other 2C's do it too. Hope that helps!
The best way to choose ingredients/products is by hair properties and not curl type (it's transient depending on product, technique, dewpoint, etc.) Here's a link to help you with yours http://livecurlylivefree.com/curly-hair-basics/ Once you determine your properties, go on curl talk and look for others with similar hair. See what they use and do. It's the best way to start.
