any cheaper but effective hair products?

i don't really want to spend too much money on hair products. i'm looking for cheaper but just as great alternatives to something like for example the sheamoisture brand. i need a leave in conditioner, a clarifying shampoo (just to break down build up after a month or 2 since i co-wash), and an alternative to the sheamoistures's curl enhancing smoothie. nothing too thick or too light

Hmm, well, for leave-in conditioner, I haven't found many good cheap products :/ Kinky Curly Knot Today is my favorite, but it's pretty expensive. Anything from SheaMoisture is good as well. But, you could create a leave-in by mixing a Suave Naturals conditioner with water. I've never tried this, but Suave Naturals has fairly light conditioners that are VERY cheap so it's worth a shot. For clarifying, you don't need a shampoo- just use apple cider vinegar! ACV is great at removing product buildup. Just mix one part ACV with two parts water. In the shower, pour it over your hair and massage your scalp (like you would with any shampoo or co-wash). Then rinse out. It smells awful, haha, but the smell doesn't last and it works really well!Hope I helped :)
I'm right there with ya girl! I can't comprehend spending more than $10-15 bucks on tiny jars that will last me one wash!(My head literally has enough hair for 2 people AND THEN SOME)Right now, I use Cantu Shea leave-in (Target for $8-10, lasts me a couple months), Kinky Curly Come Clean Moisturizing Shampoo (Target $11?, lasts me 2-3 months) and I know you wanted something similar to the curl smoothie, but I use EcoStyler Olive Oil Gel (Sallys Beauty $5-6, lasts me 3-4 months)
