hi my name is Charmony, I have the hair type 4abc my ends mainly 4 c what hair products should I use
and I have jet Black hair but I want to dye my ends in a light colour , should I dye it, and what is the best dye to use?
For product recommendations, check out our editors choice awards: http://www.naturallycurly.com/editors-choice-2015Should you dye your hair? You should do whatever you want to have fun - it's your hair ;) there's no right answer. as far as the best dye to use, it depends on the color. I've used SheaMoisture's box dyes and they're okay to a certain extent -- the blondes don't really work for me but i used the bright auburn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yd7s-MeZIjI and it worked fine. For fantasy colors, i've used manic panic, ion color brilliance, pravana, and bigen. So far my favorite is pravana: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT0-PqW01-U&index=8&list=PLaRJn-DuVqJ6V3ze7qaOfLWWRBItrcHdjHope that helps! I always say nothing is a subsitute for trial and error ^__^ but hopefully i steered you in the right direction.
Before I go on to effectively answer your question there is a few things that need to be answered...1. what is the porosity of your hair?2. Your hair texture is 4A/B with 4C ends? 3. Are you suffering from extremely dry hair? I can't really tell you what products to use on your hair texture because despite having a hair type it can react very differently to various products than another naturista's with the same hair type. Products that I'm currently using to cleanse1. TGIN Moisture Rich Sulfate Free Shampoo 2. ORS Hair Repair Invigorating Shampoo 3. Jamaican Mango & Lime Castor Sulfate Free ShampooYes I know that I am not using anything consistently because I'm still figuring out what works best for my hair and I have noted that those 3 shampoos with their adjacent conditioner work best for my hair which is 3C/4A.Conditioners...1. Jamaican Mango & Lime Black Castor Oil Paraben Free Conditioner2. TGIN Triple Moisture Replenishing Conditioner3. Suave Professionals Shea Butter and Almond Conditioner Deep Conditioner1. ORS Hair Mayonnaise 2. ORS HAIRepair Nourishing ConditionerI also use my own whipped hair/body butter which can be seen here. I hope this helps you. I don't suggest you go on to color your hair as it is very damaging to hair. Bleaching causes hair to become very dry and brittle. One would need to make sure they deep condition and moisturize very well after a hair coloring. Colored hair is also more maintenance than some is willing to invest in their hair as hair that is colored needs a special type of attention.
