where should I add an oil in my hair routine?

where in my hair routine should I add an oil? I use a leave-in, a styling milk and a gel.  thanks for your help with this question!

I typically use oils as a pre-wash treatment. I don't use shampoo normally (the Curly Girl method works really well for my hair), but once every other week or once a month I'll use SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Shampoo for clarifying. I'll oil up my hair (usually olive or coconut oil) for 15-30 minutes prior to washing. I also use oil if I'm not going to be able to condition for a few days, like if we go camping, or if I'm flying somewhere (airport and cabin air on the plane is so drying!). I treat myself during the winter months with Jessicurl's stimulating scalp massage oil (I have ridiculously dry skin!). Hope this helps!
There is a method called the LOC method.  L stands for "leave-in".  O stands for "oil".  C stands for "cream".  This step ensures that you have the most moisture.  This method is great for the winter.  You can also switch up the order and use the LCO method and use the oil as a sealant.  It is ideal to try both and see what works for you.  Hope this works!
