Looking for a Replacement Product

I currently use the Redken Curvaceous Full Swirl Cream-Serum for my 2b hair. It works decently, however it doesn't last long and the $20 cost adds up after constant restocking. I'm looking for something I can put in my hair and let airdry that is not as expensive but still effective. Any recommendations?

Try the Sheamoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I have 3a hair, and I like it a lot. You can get the small tube to see if you like it.
I have 2b/2c hair and have been using Kinky Curly Knot Today leave-in (between a nickel and quarter size) and then style with Eco Gel.  I can air dry my hair after cupping/scrunching with a t-shirt and the curls are clumped but not frizzy, shiny too.  There is a bit of a cast left behind but I cup/scrunch it out when I turn my head upside down after nearly all dry.  Then I cup/scrunch again while also shaking my finger back and forth at the roots when fully dry.  I do get better volume if I dry it with a diffuser.
I agree that is a very popular product and a lot of people, even with different hair types really enjoy this product. For your hair I would also consider a Botanical Gel if you are comfortable with the feel of a gel. You could try the DevaCurl Light Defining gel or the regular Defining Gel. You could also try the CURLS Goddess Curls Gelle and when you apply it, you want to scrunch your hair while it's wet to promote the definition you desire. Hope this helps!
