Suggestions on Sulfate/Alcohol/Silicone free drugstore products?

I'm on a college budget so suggestions that range under about $12 would be awesome. After alot of research I'm starting to think my chronic scalp peeling is due to my shampoo and conditioner. I just started using EverPure and EverCurl, as a "stepping stone" product but I want to eliminate silicones next. I have 2B hair that is color treated.

The SheaMoisture line is awesome!
As gross as it is, I have a scabby scalp (flares up around exams, ugh, last midterm tomorrow), and I have this prescribed lotion, which is just a little thicker than water, and it really really helps. The doctor says it's just eczema on my scalp. I don't use it every night, but I make sure it's when I am for sure having a shower the next morning. I don't imagine it would impact style much, but you can't leave it on for more than 12 hours or something (not sure why... just read that when reading up on the stuff). If you want a more natural approach, look up natural solutions for eczema. It could be eczema.
The EverSleek line is silicone free.
Tresemme Naturals condition is sulfate and silicone free, is often on sale for under $5 and comes in big bottles. The L'oreal Eversleek line is also good and silicone free
