What's the best shampoo for oily hair?

Sometimes I have really oily hair. Any suggestions for how to take care of oily hair?

The most important part about taking care of oily hair is that you shouldn't wash it nearly as much as you think. Sulfates and daily washes are appealing, but they only make the problem worse. Over drying your scalp increases oil production and it creates a vicious cycle. You'll want to use a low poo, and only wash 2-3 times a week. In the beginning, your hair might be greasy, but it will adjust in time. I recommend shea moisture shampoos because they are gentle, but they get the job done. Also avoid silicones, polyquats, and heavy waxes to reduce chances of buildup, increasing the feeling of a gunky scalp, and the need for a heavier cleanser.
