My hair needs lots of moisturizing, any product recommendations or DIY masks?

Hi Conzuelo! If your hair needs moisturizing (whose hair doesn't?!) I recommend investing in a good moisturizer that you can put on dry and wet hair. Apply these after you get out of the shower or on 2nd day hair as a refresher. Or if you feel like your hair needs a rest, apply it on and put your hair up in a bun as a protective style. My hair always feels sooo soft when I do that. My favorite moisturizers are: Oyin Handmade Hair DewCurl Junkie Curl Assurance Smoothing Lotion Karen's Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia Leave In If you need a good DIY recipe, I recommend looking into Olive Oil and Coconut Oil as a good moisturizing oil. These oils penetrate the hair shaft and are great at moisturizing, but use it sparingly. Test them on a small section of your hair first to see how your hair reacts. I recommend checking out this thread to learn more about oils that penetrate the hair. Hope that helps!
diy avocado mask is the best since its summer and my hair is curly it gets really dry and at first I didn't know what to do so I would just slather it with oil and conditioner until my mom told me about the avocado mask and it's very simple and effectiveIngredients1 avodepending on how long your hair is you could use more or less3tablespoons of coconut oil or milk if your hair gets oily Mix in a bowl or container and apply all over your hair from root to tip and put on a plastic shower capconditioning cap for 20 to45 minutes and rinse your hair and moisturize and style as usual
