Frizzy Hair That Triples in Size

Hello, I have thick 2a hair and it's very frizzy. When it dries, it triples in size and it looks dry. I'm guessing that it's oily as it takes time for water to completely wet my hair (maybe it's just thick, though).I just want to get rid of the puff and frizz but I want to keep the waves. Are there treatments/products that can help? Thanks!Note: I can't co-wash for my hair gets greasy

First read about hair porosity you may be on the low porosity side. Usually thick hair is low porosity and tends to dry, what you need is to find a way of getting the moisture inside your hair. So get a hydrating sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Also deep condition your hair on regular basis. Most people like to apply a leave in, I like to apply coconut oil and curl cream, that reduces the frizz and defines the waves. You may need different products so go from basic to complex. Hydrate hair, put leave in or a curl cream and see how it goes.
