Does it matter on the texture of your hair, to get it to be bouncy and have a "white girl" look?
my hair is super thick and no matter how many times I go over my hair with a flat iron, it still looks thick and puffy on the ends.
If the ends are puffy, then that is an indicator that you may need a trim. Textured hair will always be textured, regardless of if it is chemically or thermally straightened, so no, you will not have the "white girl look", especially if your hair is kinky, meaning the individual strands contort. If you want your hair to flow in the breeze then you may have to evaluate which products your are using to cleanse and straighten the hair, as heavy products and a dirty scalp can give the stiff appearance.
Your thick hair can be due to a number of things, including genetics. Some people don't have the beautifully thick, luscious and full hair that you have--the grass isn't always greener on the other side.If you are going for the bone-straight look, I recommend updating your current routine to reflect the specific issues you are dealing with (maybe frizz, breakage, dryness...)
