I have wavy/curly hair and every time I straighten it my hair will curl back up. What should I use?

I don't know what to use for my hair before and after.

Hi Rockstarlev, Your hair is probably curling because it's drying out. Be sure to moisturize your hair! If you have wavy/curly hair, it's important to properly care for it using the right products before and after you flat iron. Be sure to use a gentle cleanser like this one in the shower if you straighten often...straightening the hair causes damage and strips hair of moisture, so you will need to replenish it on wash days. Also, use a deep conditioner, such as DevaCurl's Heaven in Hair once a week. Once you get out of the shower, apply a straightening serum throughout your hair. It will help keep your locks from curling. My favorite is Tigi Bed Head Straighen Out. It's awesome! Crazy good. Apply that to wet hair before you straighten. After you straighten, use a moisturizing oil. AG the oil is the best, especially if you're using heat. Good luck!
