Hi lovelies! I was wondering if I could get some advice from those of you who have years of experience.I'd like to straighten my hair but don't know how to go about doing it. I believe my hair is somewhere from 3A - 3B? I tried straightening it today using just the simply straight brush and some heat protectant, it was good at first but then just became really poofy and fluffy. . .My hair routine up to now:I probably shampoo 1-3 times a month, but I condition almost every night.I apply some organ oil probably 3 times a week to my damp hair, or before I go out.I apply coconut hair butter to my damp hair almost every night. In the shower I comb out my hair starting from the bottom using a wide tooth comb. --I own a flat iron and blowdrier, but have never touched either (they belong to my mom). My mom was super sweet and bought me the flat iron comb because she knew how much I wanted straight hair like hers! So I feel bad that it didn't come out as nice as I wanted it to. . :( NOTE: my mom has straight asian hair with a slight wave, so she doesn't understand the curly hair struggle. Some of the products/tools I already own (+ pictures of them below): -Creme of Nature Argan Oil from Morocco -L'oreal Sleek It Iron Straight HeatSpray - Pantene Heat Potion Serum- Quenching coconut curls curling hair butter - Simply Straight Comb Straightener -Conair Ceramic Technology Straightener - Conair Ion Shine 1875
