Vegan Hair Straightening

About 2 years ago I started to shed a ton of hair which made the ends of my hair stringy and thin. The hair started growing in but it still isn't caught up with the lower part. I have cut it to get it to match up but I don't want to cut it again, it's too short to wear curly and worried drying with dryer will damage it. I wear it up every day. The only time I could wash and go was when I had brazilian blowout but I'm too nervous to do that again. Has anyone heard of Zerran hair straightening? Supposed to be all vegan and I really want to try it but scared of hurting my hair again:
