Better to detangle when wet, damp, or dry?
Is it safer to detangle 4c hair during washing? Or right after washing while its damp? Or better to just comb through when its dry? Which method would cause less breakage?

I have to detangle my hair while sopping wet and coated with conditioner... if I don't I get breakage.

Personally I like detangling on wet and damp hair. I hate detangling on dry hair. It kind of hurts.

Most people have best luck detangling when hair is wet. Use a leave-in conditioner to make the process easier.
