How else do I make my hair curly besides doing some type of braiding or twisting?

This might sound weird (hope it doesn't) but I'm a guy and I've been growing my hair since november and I've been wanting natural curls. I want to have a full head of curly hair! I don't know my hair type/texture but I do know it's not naturally curly. I've been watching how African American women get their hair curly and in all of the videos I have seen they are either doing some type of braiding or twisting. I'm not sure if I want to do that because it seems like it takes soooo much time and the thought of it is making me feel like I'm better off cutting my hair but I really don't want to :(  So is there a way I can make my hair curly with certain products by just rubbing my hands on my hair in a circular motion with these products? Braiding and twisting seems like it takes so much time and I don't want to have to do that every single time I want my hair to be curly. What should I do? PLEASE HELP =\

You csn try bantu knots or perm rods
You can also apply Tigi curlesque as a part of your loc method for your wash and go , but not a lot a dime size go along way, flip your hair back and while diffusing ....oh and if you have a Denman brush use that also after you apply all your prod
that's no help =/ someone help me!
If you don't have naturally curly hair, you can't have naturally curly hair. You can get a perm or try some of the suggestions you've been offered. You can also try Curlformers. Search this site for more info.
What is a Denman brush?
