how should I style the top/front of my hair

I'm having a lot of trouble styling the top an front of my hair. My problem area is where my bangs used to be. I had bangs about a year ago and now I'm still trying to grow them out. They're long enough that they blend well with my hair now but they still don't lay right. Here is my current routine:I've recently started using DevaCurl products and I love them! I use the No Poo and One Condition in the shower. As I rinse out the conditioner my hair is slicked back so I try to part it with my fingers. When I'm parting it I also bring down the hair on the side of my face so it is laying the way I want. Then I flip my hair over and apply the Arc AnGel and scrunch it into my hair. If I have time I let it air dry, but if not I dry it with a diffuser. Any tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated. My hair is a mix of 2C and 3A.

Sounds like you've developed a routine/method that works for you... not sure there's any reason to mess with it! When I am "doing" the front of my hair, I kinda hold the very front part up and away from my forehead and shoot it with the blowdryer so it kinda dries up and away from my face. Then the curls kinda fall to the side instead of down my forehead.
It all just depends what they look like. I used to have bangs and I'm still trying to grow them out, but you can try having bangs that curl like this: you can part them down the middle and there your go!Good lick I hope you find something that works for you!
